Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What should I bring?

You should bring:

Identification
Anything you want to eat or drink (we do not provide food, but we will have a cooler onboard)
Sunscreen
A towel in case you get wet.
Sunglasses (polarized work best on the water in bright sun)
A camera

Q: What should I wear?
Wear clothing appropriate for the weather. It tends to be more windy on the water, so if it's cold outside, it will be colder on the boat. To avoid injury wear stable, close-toed shoes. Please wear shoes with non-marking soles (white or gray bottoms).

Q: Do I need a fishing license?
No, your party is covered under our vessel license.

Q: Can I bring alcohol?
Yes, you can bring alcohol onboard. However, absolutely NO ILLEGAL DRUGS may be brought onto our boat. The authorities take this very seriously and will confiscate our vessel. If that happens, we will take legal measures to replace our equipment at your expense.

Since we are responsible for your safety, if we think you've had too much to drink onboard, we reserve the right to stop your alcohol consumption ...yes even if it's your beer.

Keep in mind that you will have to drive home or to your hotel after the charter. Please drink responsibly.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
Yes, we ware a family and dog-friendly charter company. Please make sure your dog has a collar and strong leash to control them while boarding. You may need to lift your dog in or out of the boat depending on the height of the tide

Q: What if I get sea-sick?
It's your charter. You have several options (1) we can try trolling, sometimes keeping the boat moving helps. (2) If you want to come to the calmer areas near the shore, we'll do that. We can catch fish anywhere. (3) If you want to call it the day, we'll do that too. Unfortunately, we can't offer refunds because you get sick. The majority of your charter fee pays for fuel and if we go offshore we've used the fuel. Unfortunately the gas station won't refund our money.

If you think you may get sea-sick, try taking Bonine or Non-drowsy Dramimine BEFORE YOU LEAVE to go to the marina. Take it with a full glass of water. Eat a NON-SWEET breakfast, like a plain bagel or a bagel with butter or cream-cheese. SUGAR IS BAD. Bring salty snacks like beef jerky or pretzels. Avoid coffee the morning of your charter if possible, drink milk instead. Bring some IBC rootbeer or ginger ale to drink on the boat, ginger has a calming affect on the stomach.
Q: Do I get to keep my catch?
Yes, if you want to keep your catch, we will filet and package it for you.
